Salt Lake City Dine O Round

May 2-17 you can eat at 33 of SLC's finest restaurants and choose a three course dinner for $15 or $30 a person. Check out the website www.downtownslc.com/events/dine-o-round to see the participating restaurants. Some of them also do a lunch special with 2 courses for $10. One of the things that I love about the Dine O Round is that it has all of our favorite restaurants for a much cheaper price! So we can actually go :) I am going to highlight at least one restaurant a day with some recommendations for you, and I will put the pricing up as well! BON APPETITE!

Here is a list of some of our favorites!

-Biaggi's Ristorante Italiano
-Christopher's Seafood & Steak
-Benihana's
-Spencers for Steaks and Chops! ( I have never eaten here but have heard rave reviews! I will let you know how it goes.)
-Faustina
-The Melting Pot
-Market Sreet Grill
-Thaifoon
-Takashi

Dessert First!

Wherever I go in the world I constantly search for deserts. For me, when I go out to eat desert is a necessity! Hopefully each of you readers enjoy the same indulgences that I do! Salt Lake City is home to many good finds... but I feel as though we are just beginning to discover the wonders that are out there.

Among my current favorites and must haves are:

Market Street Grill

There are two desserts that are to die for here! And frankly... why not just have both... side by side? The Sabayon Sauce over Haagen Daz and fresh Berries is literally, out of this world.

and

The Raspberry Almond Tort is also amazing and honestly, the two mixed together in your mouth makes for one tasty treat. Bon Appetite!

THE PARIS BISTRO!

One of Salt Lake Cities best kept secrets. Located on 1500 South 1500 East it is tucked away in the charming suburbs of Salt Lake City. Their meals are amazing and will surely be reviewed on a later date, but their deserts were amazing. Everything on the menu looked wonderful. I tried the Banana's Foster and the Lava Cake. Both exceeded my expectations. You will not be disappointed. Bon Appetite!

SPOON ME!
For a quick, healthy fix Spoon Me! Is taking over Salt Lake Cities taste buds. The latest craze around the world is that of frozen yogurt. This time... with a little different twist. PinkBerry and Red Mango are two of the more national giants. Spoon Me takes the same concept, but does it better. I have tried all of these yogurts before, but SpoonMe! won me over.

I recommend the medium sized regular yogurt topped with Rasberries, blueberries and BlackBerries. May sound boring, but I promise you... you are in for a treat! Enjoy!
